This book is pure sapphic yearning on an intense scale. I walked away from it, thinking about shoulder blades just because the protagonist was so obsessed with them. Every page was just dripping with longing and desire, it hurt so much but in a such a good way if that makes sense.
I could not put this down, i was reading it every work break and as soon as I got home. Even though there was some general weirdness that slowed down comprehension like the choice to not clearly indicate what dialogue was being said by who.
There's also some gender (gasp!) in that the protagonist very much identifies as a lesbian, but is definitely having gender thoughts like to the point of wearing a binder. So I was expecting some kind of reveal, but nope it's just a part of her and you the reader don't ever get a complete understanding, which I found refreshing tbqh.
Very good book, I fucking adore it.
